BRIDGESTONE TIRE

Bridgestone Tire Company was founded in Japan and quickly became one of the leading tire companies around. They made their entrance into the US market by purchasing a place out in California . This was soon followed by the purchase of a Firestone tire plant in Tennessee . Eventually Bridgestone purchased Firestone in the 1980's to merge into the largest tire and rubber company around.
